Before becoming a mother, I thought I understood love.
But nothing could have prepared me for the emotional awakening that came with holding my child for the first time.
Motherhood cracked me wide open.
Suddenly, I was feeling everything more deeply—love, fear, joy, guilt, awe—all at once.
I was overwhelmed… but not in a bad way.
More like being swept into something authentic and raw that I couldn't—and didn’t want to—escape.
I've stumbled more than once. I've second-guessed myself.
I’ve cried from exhaustion, from fear I wasn’t enough or making the right decisions.
But I’ve also found moments of inspiration that took my breath away.
I've grown in humility, in patience, in selflessness.
I've learned to truly listen—not just to my child, but to my own intuition.
That quiet inner voice that says, “You got this! Just keep loving.”
And as I’ve grown into this role—flawed but wholehearted, I see the invisible threads of love, courage, and quiet endurance that weave through generations of women.
Motherhood didn’t just change me.
It revealed me.
It softened the edges I didn’t know needed softening.
It made me more compassionate, more grounded, and more anchored in the calm certainty that only unconditional love can teach.
How has motherhood changed you?
