Unconditional Love

Something happened when I became a mother. Everything that seemed to be important quickly moved to the back of my mind. I quickly realized I was responsible for this little person - for everything in his world from infant to toddler to little boy...to teenager...to young man! And there are a lot of things he needs to learn - a lot of things I need to teach him, to show him, to instill in him and to help him believe he can be anything he wants to be.

So just as I wrote my vows for my husband, I wrote and made a promise to my little boy...The Baby Promise. Knowing I would probably need to be reminded of these words every day, probably more than once, I designed a band of gold to wear with my wedding set - which is now my Family Set - so that I would be conscious of and reminded of my responsibilities every day.   ​

Becoming a mother helped me to see the world through different lenses and to truly see what a commitment it is to raise the younger generation. So wanting to celebrate and embrace this new "job," I decided to share my simple promise and the rings with all moms...because we are all in this together!

Metal: As part of our commitment to sustainability, we choose to use recycled and refined metals for The Baby Promise products. Jewelry is one of the only products that can be completely recycled. In fact, the majority of gold used today is recycled because there are only a few mining regions left. Recycled gold avoids the ethical and environmental concerns attributed to the mining, leaving our children a better world.

Diamonds: We use diamonds that are Born with Love®  - real diamonds born in an environmentally friendly laboratory not dug up from an un-environmentally-friendly coal mine. If you would like to learn more about clean and genuine diamonds grown in a laboratory, please see the information at the Gemological Institute of America.

The Baby Promise gives a percentage of it's proceeds to charity that provides mothers and their children living in poverty with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves.
